She gained her organizational behavior and professional and executive coaching education at The University of Texas at Dallas.
You will always find Belinda outside, whether she’s practicing outdoor skills, hiking, camping, fly-fishing or golfing. Also, Belinda is a pilot and she loves riding her Harley-Davidson across the country with her husband. |
Belinda Gates, PCC
Founder Executive Coach, Leadership Development Through leadership development and executive coaching services, Belinda supports engineers, contractors, utilities and manufacturing companies. She also works with other corporate clients and non-profit organizations. She strengthens strategic initiatives through one-on-one and team coaching as well as leadership workshops and strategic planning. Her speaking engagements include conferences and corporate meetings nationwide on the topics of leadership, strategic positioning, productivity and success. Owner of a Large Architectural/Engineering Firm Belinda retired from her ownership position at Luckett & Farley Architects and Engineers in 2010 in Louisville, Kentucky. She served the marketing, business development, client management and strategic direction of the firm for 17 years and was an owner for nine of those years. She helped grow the company from 45 to 220 employees with five offices, shift the culture to better attract and retain top talent and created a strong presence in several new markets. Leadership Positions in Various Fields Belinda also has a background in creating and managing successful companies in various fields. She owned her own advertising agency in Miami, Florida and then directed the global advertising and public relations of a large commercial aircraft leasing company and cargo airline. She created an event management company for corporate and community events and she served in a leadership position at the largest flight school in Louisville. Astonishing Results Belinda’s coaching clients, whether it is one-on-one, or in teams, consistently gain insight, perspective and new tools for furthering their career and leading others. As a corporate consultant, she quickly uncovers core issues and assists companies in tackling big initiatives for strategic growth, continuous improvement and focused actions. Giving Back On a volunteer basis, Belinda is a coach for Stand Beside Them, a national organization that helps veterans create a brighter future. And, she donates coaching to National Safe Place, an organization that helps youth in crisis. She has also worked with adults in transition, foster youth organizations and collegiate athletes in preparation for independent living. Giving back is an important aspect of Belinda’s work and she continues to seek new opportunities to do this. |
Noted author and teacher for outdoor survival skills, Craig is the author of the books Extreme Wilderness Survival, Ultimate Wilderness Gear and co-author of Essential Wilderness Navigation. His other written work has been featured in Self-Reliance Illustrated, Wilderness Way, American Frontiersman, and American Survival Guide, Backwoods Self-Reliance magazines. He has a very active blog and also guest blogs for Dan’s Depot, Omega Gear, Joel Lambert, Survival Life, Knowledge Weighs Nothing, How To Do Stuff, Family Protection Association, and American Gun Association. He has a weekly newspaper column for his hometown newspaper, The Winchester Sun. He has an active Youtube channel in which he provides education on all things outdoors. Craig is forever a student and therefore continues to train and grow in his own skill set.

Craig Caudill
Lead Outdoor Skills Instructor Craig Caudill began his outdoor experiences while growing up hunting, fishing, and playing in the woods of Kentucky. For over four decades he has actively pursued experiential knowledge of all things related to awareness, safety and survival in the outdoors. He has studied and trained in primitive skills, as well as modern methods to successfully challenge himself in the outdoors. This included two 30-day solo trips alone into the wilderness with nothing but a knife. Craig is pleased and honored to have the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students. Owner/Director, Nature Reliance School He regularly teaches corporate, government agencies and the public sector in these methods as a means of safety and team building. He is an avid tracker and has taught various law-enforcement agencies on the federal, state, and local level as well as and search-and-rescue team in the science of man-tracking. He has led survival and wilderness navigation courses for wildlife and biology students from 14 different universities in the southeast. He has been featured on Public Education Television for the shows Kentucky Afield, Kentucky Life, and Tim Farmer’s Country Kitchen. He is regularly interviewed on local news segments to share safety and survival skills. Education Craig has his BBA with an Emphasis in Statistical Analysis from the University of Kentucky. He is an Adjunct Instructor of backcountry skills for the DEA, and Infragard Partner and Educator with the FBI and has trained with various Departments of Emergency Management for search and rescue and lost person behavior. He has also completed courses in nearly 30 various disciplines of outdoor survival, self-defense and weaponry. Sherah Basham, PhD, Instructor

Sherah offers safety training, policies and planning for your employees and place of business. She is currently a criminal justice professor and has over 20 years experience in the criminal justice field in the areas of administration, investigations, campus security, and higher education. She holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Walden University, a MSA in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida, and a BS in Criminal Justice from Pensacola Christian College. Her research interests include policing, campus law enforcement, gun policy, and use of force. Bruce Conway, PhD, Instructor
Management/Aerospace/Federal Government/Academia Leadership & Insights Bruce offers a broad range of high-level training for Wildside Institute attendees. He teaches courses in systems engineering and aeronautical sciences at the Masters’ and Ph.D. levels and is the Associate Dean of the College of Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Bruce spent most of his career at high levels with NASA, including internal operations, where he directed the strategic planning and process improvement for 1,250 civil service employees, instrument research and flight electronics. He has written 32 publications and has earned numerous awards for his work at NASA. Bruce holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from VA Polytechnic Institute, a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from George Washington University and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. |

Brands, Inc., the parent company for 34,000 quick service restaurants, including KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, Pat can provide comprehensive insight and effective training for any corporate scenario. He was also the Director of People Development at ZirMed, Inc., a privately held software development company serving the healthcare industry. After leading that company for nearly 15 years, Henrietta now consults on a broader level in the disciplines of strategic positioning, creating brand ambassadors, brand expression and discovering your WHY. Prior to The Pepper Group, LTD, she spent 20 years in senior management roles at advertising and marketing communications firms. As Senior Vice President for Republic Bank, she significantly grew the business portfolios of both the Cash Management and Tax Refund Solutions divisions through well-managed and motivated sales forces. With a passion for non-profit work, she became Vice President for Development at Hosparus Health. Cathy now serves as a consultant to various companies and non-profit organizations offering her expertise in developing new business relationships. She incorporates simple yet effective persuasive writing techniques to use in proposals, RFPs, grant applications, and business plans. Cathy has provided board development and executive leadership consultation to several non-profit organizations including arts, colleges, museums and other educational institutions. |
