Experiential Curriculum

Be prepared for a unique immersion of learning, growing and connecting.

There are many parallels between surviving in the wild and surviving in the corporate world.
One common thread for both is the fact that we should not just exist to survive, but rather to thrive.
In the woods or in the boardroom, we should prepare ourselves to excel, not just keep up.

We should expect ourselves to prosper, not just get by.

This course broadens your capabilities to not only survive
during stressful conditions, but to thrive through demanding circumstances.

As you learn about all that Wildside Institute offers, consider the possibilities for your team.
The agenda of your program will be tailored to address your issues, goals and necessary take-aways.
If you’re not sure what those are, we’ll help you identify them.

We offer an extensive list of topics
to choose from for your program.

We do this so that you can accomplish as much as possible with your team
during your time with us.

Some teams may want to break into smaller groups to focus on relevant subjects
while others experience what is important to them.

However we deliver it, your agenda will be unique to your team
and you will walk away with the desired deliverables.

Areas of focus are broken down into three categories:
business, leadership and outdoor skills.

Leadership is best practiced within a culture that has sound business foundations and practices.

That’s why we combine both business and leadership for a well-rounded individual and team learning experience.

Add to that the practical teaching of outdoor skills for self reliance and growth and you have the trifecta of team development success.

What is experiential learning?
Learning through experiences is an effective way to gain and apply new knowledge, ideas and processes. We don’t lecture. We don’t use Powerpoints. We transfer our knowledge in a coaching, conversational and consultative method.

You will be able to take advantage of the vast experience our instructors offer on a myriad of topics and from a variety of industries. You will be challenged, motivated and inspired to reach new levels. More importantly, you will take your new insight home with you and apply it into your real-world scenarios. There, you can practice it and continue to grow.

You will be in a safe environment of sharing, conversing and problem-solving. You will be highly focused and feel connected to the team in new ways. We will work to align your purpose and your motives may shift in a positive way.

The delivery of the content is such that attendees will share experiences, role-play or use exercises to address topics and then they will reflect and understand everything around that. There will be opportunities to experiment or make a plan to experiment with the new knowledge and then take it home and apply it in the real world.

The learning continues and the growth of the team is demonstrated through successful outcomes. Accountability is woven into the fabric of the team.

The result is a positive shift in mindset and actions.
