Lead Outdoor Skills Instructor for Wildside Institute / Safety and Security Means and Methods
Craig's role for this program will be as instructor for a multitude of topics related to safety and security. For over four decades Craig has actively pursued experiential knowledge of all things related to awareness, safety and survival in the outdoors. He has studied and trained in primitive skills, as well as modern methods to successfully challenge himself in the outdoors. This included two 30-day solo trips alone into the wilderness with nothing but a knife. Craig is pleased and honored to have the opportunity to teach corporate, government agencies and the public sector in these methods as a means of safety and team building.
Craig has his BBA with an Emphasis in Statistical Analysis from the University of Kentucky. He is an Adjunct Instructor of backcountry skills for the DEA, and Infragard Partner and Educator with the FBI and has trained with various Departments of Emergency Management for search and rescue and lost person behavior. Sherah's role for this program will be as instructor as it relates to personal and corporate safety and security. For over twenty years, Sherah has served in the criminal justice field in the areas of administration, investigations, campus security and higher education. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social, Cultural, and Justice Studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she teaches courses on policing, minorities and the criminal justice system, as well as research and data analysis. A topic that should be at the top of every business owner’s list is safety. Sherah brings relevant topics of safety and security to the forefront for corporations and individuals. She holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Walden University, an MSA in Criminal Justice from the University of West Florida, and a BS in Criminal Justice from Pensacola Christian College. Her research interests include policing, campus law enforcement, education, gun policy, and use of force.
